Thank you for your sacrifice

Thank you for your grace and mercy

As I look over these past years, these past months

I am grateful and thankful that You decided to come to earth as man

To be born of a virgin and walk the earth

And endure all that we as humans endure

I thank you because of your sacrifice

Because of your love and your patience and your grace

This year, this holiday, this Christmas Season

Leaves me hopeful about what is to come because you are God and there is no one else

Because of your sacrifice, we all have the opportunity to celebrate your birth and 

We all have the opportunity to be with you for all eternity

So, I say, thank you for your sacrifice

Your sacrifice brings peace, your sacrifice brings joy, your sacrifice is of love that we all (the just and the unjust) have available to us 

As we go through this season of thankfulness, of gratefulness, of remembering what you have given to us, I say thank you,
