In 1 Chronicles Machir, the son of Manasseh, had two wives, Maacah and Zelophehad. Zelophehad had only daughters. Maacah, Machir's wife, bore a son whom she named Peresh, and he also had a brother named Sheresh, as well as sons Ulam and Rakem.
